Mr Mohamad Azmi Muslimin is currently a Private Investor, managing his personal investments in real estate and equities. He was previously an Associate Director (Portfolio Management) in Temasek Holdings, an Asian investment house headquartered in Singapore. He was with the company for 10 years from 2002 to 2011, gaining vast experience in investments (private equity, private equity funds, public equities), research, strategic development, corporate finance, competitive intelligence, knowledge management, financial markets and global macroeconomic analysis. His regional investment experience includes Singapore, Indonesia, Russia, the Middle East and the USA. His industry exposure includes ports, shipping, banking, consumer, real estate, resources, agriculture and technology. He was also actively involved in Temasek’s tsunami relief and reconstruction projects in Aceh from 2005 to 2011. Prior to joining Temasek Holdings, he was an Economics Lecturer and a Subject Level Coordinator at Jurong Junior College. Azmi holds a Masters in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore (NUS), a Masters in Social Sciences (Applied Economics) (NUS) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Economics) (Honours, 2nd Class Upper) (NUS) and is a member of Mensa (Singapore).
