Thought Leadership

AMP is rejuvenating its role in providing thought leadership for the Malay/Muslim communities through its research centre, Centre for Research on Islamic and Malay Affairs (RIMA). To this end, RIMA has developed a range of programmes in research as well as created a forum for the meeting of minds within the community. RIMA expects to expand the scope of its research activities and looks forward to collaborating with partners in Singapore, the region and the larger community.

RIMA logoRIMA’s agenda aims to support current programmes to address long-standing and contemporary issues and challenges facing the community. It also hopes to develop and promote a strong research culture within the community through its activities. Over the years, RIMA has contributed to discourses on numerous issues relevant to the community. Conferences and seminars were organised to add vibrancy to discourses and to create awareness of these issues. Roundtable and focus group discussions involving key stakeholders were also organised to foster greater understanding of issues and to keep abreast of emerging trends. Additionally, RIMA has produced a number of publications and contributed articles in both print and online media.

Visit the official RIMA website for more information.
