Ms Zarina Yusof is a Senior Assistant Director at the Diabetes Programme Office of the Ministry of Health Singapore. Formerly an Associate Director of Temasek Foundation, she has over 20 years of strong career experience in the public, broadcast, education and healthcare sectors. She also has senior-level experience in developing strategic directions, leading and overseeing key outputs, as well as budget utilisation. She has a good knowledge of managing complex national-level projects and integrated marketing campaigns, which include leveraging on social and new media to bring awareness of messages to a different level. She has supervised and implemented many community and organisation-wide programmes that are designed to promote well-being and change mindsets. She possesses good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with demonstrable ability to forge strategic partnerships and alliances with public, private and people sectors. She is also an associate lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where she has been teaching a module on presentation skills to undergraduates since 2009.
