Mr Fathurrahman Hj M Dawoed is currently Executive Director of Andalus Corporation Pte Ltd. He has 15 years of experience in the Islamic education sector in Singapore, as well as volunteering in various Muslim organisations. He is also currently serving as a Member of the Singapore Fatwa Committee and an Honorary Member for the Council of the Singapore Islamic Scholars & Religious Teachers Association (PERGAS). As a certified asatizah under the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore’s (MUIS) Asatizah Recognition Scheme, he also teaches religious knowledge and has led several seminars and symposiums at different institutions such as Andalus, al-Zuhri, PERGAS, mosques and madrasahs. He obtained a Master of Arts degree in Humanities (Islamic Studies) from the University of Science, Malaysia in 2010, and a Master of Science degree in Asian Studies from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at the Nanyang Technological University. He is currently a doctoral candidate in education at the National Institute of Education, Singapore.
